If your child is 4 or 5 years old and will be making the big move to Kindergarten next year, then my School readiness Program will suit them perfectly.

School Readiness means exactly that - being ready for school. The program runs for 45 minutes and includes letter identification in preparation for reading, sight words, number knowledge and fine motor skills.

The School Readiness Program will give you little learner a head start into their school year, making school less daunting and not so difficult. Knowledge about letters - their shapes, their names and their linguistic functions, plays an extremely important role in the development of your child's reading and spelling ability. Not only to we focus on sounds and letters thoughout our sessions, but also numbers fine motor, taking turns, fine motor, pencil grip and much more. Consequently, you are less likely to have a child who finds school 'hard' as they get older.
Reading Development
Letters and letter sounds represent the sounds of spoken language. Learning that there are predictable relationships between letters and sounds allows children to apply these relationships to both familiar and unfamiliar words, and to begin to read with fluency.
